To be fair I haven't changed the orientation....it's the same plane as in the original...but then again....that won't help much!

ReplyDeleteWell this is the last guess I have. Is it chicken tied together? Or maybe a pounded flat chicken breast that is stuffed and tied together?

ReplyDeleteIn kitchens it's called a roulade and I had intended to stuff it with cheese, shallots and asparagus plus the usual assortment of herbs but my boss forgot to buy the asparagus so I had to improvise.
Anyway I don't like pinning them with toothpicks ( they have a nasty habit of sticking in places you wish they hadn't ) so I tied them with chives which we have by the ton just outside the dining room door...et voila!
That is a great idea, never thought of doing it with chives. My husband thought it was chicken but it was really hard to guess. I enjoyed the mystery. They sure look like they were good. You can cook for us anytime.
