I saw these lily pads on the edge of a small creek across the road from me and they looked so much like little jewels I thought it was worth a picture.
Sharpened and cropped the water drops on them sadly don't show up as dramatic as they were against the afternoon sun but still I think it looks peaceful.
They are so unusually shaped and with the dot in the center of each, remind me of a macro of a group of sequins! I do love the soft green color and almost satiny luster.
ReplyDeleteYeah but where is da Frogs Dude?
ReplyDeleteRef your offer for December, Forget it - If I wanted Snow I'd live somewhere other than Paradise.
Love that beautiful texture. Great eye!

What a great pattern these lily pads are making, I like the way they take up the whole frame, with only the black inky looking water making a rift through the centre.
ReplyDeleteWhat cool shapes...I love sitting at ponds and staring at the lily pads, now I can just stare at your pic instead!
ReplyDeleteLots and lots of wonderfully shaped lily pads complete with sparkling water drops.
ReplyDeleteYes, the shapes of these lily pads are different than what I normally see, however they are beautifully photographed and processed!
